ABOUT US
Building Florida Custom Homes For Over 100 Years
For more than a century, we've helped Florida families create homes where they grow, gather, and make memories for generations.
There is no greater satisfaction than handing over the keys to a finished home and knowing we've helped another family create a place they will love spending countless hours in.
OUR STORY
About Cogdill Builders
Cogdill Builders is built on more than 100 years of Florida construction experience passed down through generations. Construction has been a part of the Cogdill family for decades, with a commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and doing things the right way.
Today, that tradition continues under the leadership of Mike Cogdill. Raised in a construction family and formally educated in building construction, Mike combines generations of knowledge with hands-on experience in both design and construction.
This unique perspective allows us to create custom homes that not only look great on paper but work beautifully in real life.

About Mike Cogdill
For Mike, custom homebuilding is about much more than construction. It is an opportunity to combine his passion for design, decades of building experience, and the relationships he creates with the families he works with.
After years working in various areas of the construction industry, Mike returned to his family's construction business and founded Cogdill Builders of Florida in 2003. Since then, he has focused on helping families throughout the Tampa Bay area design and build homes they love spending time in.
What Mike enjoys most is the people. From the first conversation to the day he hands over the keys, his goal is simple: create a home his clients are proud of and provide an experience they genuinely enjoy. Many clients become long-term friends long after move in day.
